About six months ago, I set out to create a blog that could run with minimal input from me. With the help of ChatGPT and a few WordPress plugins, I was able to build a fully functional niche website powered mostly by AI.
The first step was choosing a niche. I picked ‘remote work productivity’ — something I knew a bit about and that had decent search traffic. I used ChatGPT to brainstorm blog topics, generate article outlines, and even write drafts. Of course, I edited them to sound more natural and aligned with my voice.
I combined this with a plugin that scheduled posts automatically. I also integrated an image-generation API to create thumbnails for each post. The result? A blog that updates three times a week without me writing every single word.
To monetize, I signed up for Google AdSense and added affiliate links to recommended remote work tools. It took a few weeks to gain traffic, but once some posts started ranking on Google, I began seeing daily revenue trickling in.
My advice: AI won’t do everything, but it can give you a huge head start. Pick a niche you care about, use AI to fill in the gaps, and stay consistent. It works!
